Baby C’s First Birthday – Annapolis Cake Smash Photography

Okay, I love being a mom to my boys, but, let’s just all agree that girls have more fun when it comes to first birthday sessions. This particular Annapolis cake smash photography session was the best! The flower crowns (#necessary), the outfits, in this case, the moccs(!!), the milk baths, the themes…! Justttt saying I think first girl birthdays are a little more fun!

Especially, I’ll say it again, if you get a flower crown! I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this adorable girl and her wonderful family since she was in her mama’s belly, and they’ve become a little piece of family to me. Mom totally styled this session and she did a fantastic job – I’d say we made a great team in making all of her Pinterest dreams come true!

I truly feel blessed to have been able to capture these moments – there’s just something about watching very cute babies get to experience their first bite of cake. It’s always funny, adorable, and makes for the best day ever. And the milk bath – for this sweet girl that was all strawberries > cake –
was truly the icing on the, well, cake!
